We help nonprofit professionals become better leaders, strengthening the organizations they lead.

Executive Virtual Assistants

As a nonprofit leader, I’m pulled in a hundred different directions each day. My executive virtual assistant is indispensable in helping me navigate everything.

My assistant didn't just take over my calendar and emails; she became my strategic partner. She anticipates needs before they arise, protects my time so I can focus on securing the resources our organization needs, and helps make sure that I’m taking care of myself too.

I have less stress and lead my team more effectively because of her.

Overview

As a nonprofit leader or consultant, your success is directly related to your effectiveness as a leader. And, when you’re stretched thin, not only do you personally struggle but your team and organization is impacted as well.

With that in mind, we created our Executive Virtual Assistant service, specifically for nonprofit professionals and consultants.

Our assistants can reliably take over any number of tasks, such as:

  • Email management

  • Calendar management

  • Meeting management and note-taking

  • Navigating AI tools

  • Managing your projects

  • Coordinating your board meetings

  • Donor/sales research and correspondence

  • Marketing outreach and social media maintenance

  • Maintaining your database

  • Streamlining your proposal process

  • Grant management

What Differentiates This Service

  • An Emphasis on Quality: Mission Met has an extensive vetting process so that we only bring reliable, professional, and quality executive assistants onto our team.

  • A Team: Your assistant is part of a team of assistants. If your assistant needs help to meet your needs then they can call upon their team members to provide support.

  • Nonprofit Knowledge: Each of our executive assistants have nonprofit knowledge that helps them more rapidly jump into your team and work.

  • Two-year Commitment: One of the most frustrating elements of hiring an executive assistant is that you can spend a lot of time training your assistant only to have them leave after a few weeks. With that in mind, we do what we can to ensure that your assistant works with you for a couple of years. We can’t guarantee that, of course. But it is our intent.

  • Coordinated Onboarding: We make sure that both our clients and the executive assistant engage in a thoughtful onboarding process to help ensure success.

  • Coaching: Our clients get coaching from Mission Met’s Co-founder, Eric Ryan, so that they can get the most out of partnering with their assistant.

  • Based in the Philippines: Mission Met’s executive assistants are based in the Philippines. They work American hours so that your assistant is available when you need them.

  • Affordability: It’s not uncommon to pay $50-$60 per hour for a virtual executive assistant based in America. Mission Met’s executive assistant service is $25/hour for a package of 40 or 20 hours per week.

Our Experience and Consultants

Our team has led hundreds of strategic planning processes over the years. We have a proven process and lean on excellent resources like our book,  instructional videos, and strategic planning software.

For Individual Nonprofits

For individual nonprofits, Mission Met offers three distinct levels of service.

Level 1: TUNE-UP

Some clients come to us with a strategic plan already in hand and they just want some help tuning it up and making it more effective. As such, in our TUNE-UP service we typically provide a plan review and some customized one-on-one coaching so that the organization can raise their strategic plan and implementation process to the next level.

Level 2: LAUNCH

We offer our LAUNCH service to the do-it-yourself clients that want to create their own plan but would like to have experienced guidance. In this service we typically provide several hours of custom coaching and numerous resources to streamline the planning process. Sometimes we even provide a facilitated work session or retreat to help create the plan and buy-in with the team.

Level 3: TRANSFORM

Our TRANSFORM service is our comprehensive start-to-finish strategic planning service. In this process we lead the complete project, work with a planning task force, conduct an organizational assessment, lead the plan creation, facilitate a planning retreat, and provide up to a year of follow-up coaching.

For Groups of Nonprofits

Mission Met provides a collaborative program called THRIVE, designed specifically for nonprofit cohorts. Designed for small-to-mid-sized non-profits with under $2M in annual revenue, THRIVE brings together leaders from different organizations to complete strategic planning training alongside peers. The cohort framework gives participating leaders a simplified, repeatable four-step strategic planning system, worksheets, group coaching, access to strategic planning software, and opportunities to foster supportive community relationships within the nonprofit sector.

Strategic Plan Booklet Design

We provide a graphic design service called INSPIRE, which turns completed strategic plans or annual reports into professional, visually engaging booklets for donors, funders, and stakeholders. Over an average ten-week timeline, a dedicated project manager, copy editor, and designer craft custom digital PDFs as well as 200 physical printed copies via an eco-friendly printer. This service helps nonprofits enhance their marketing presence, drive fundraising success, and build trust across their donor networks.

Leadership Coaching

Mission Met’s leadership coaching service helps nonprofit professionals navigate complex organizational challenges, prevent burnout, drive meaningful social impact, and become more
effective leaders.

Designed specifically for the unique demands of nonprofit leadership, our tailored one-on-one virtual sessions focus on strengthening strategic decision-making, mastering board governance, elevating fundraising capabilities, and cultivating resilient organizational cultures.

We typically create multi-month engagements with coaching every two-to-four weeks, depending on the client’s needs.

At the end our process our clients typically leave with a personal plan and new ways of thinking that can support them for
years to come.
